From Copenhagen, Manzoni returned to In The Herning Museum of Contemporary Art [HEART] organised its seventh biënnale with the title Socle du Monde Biennale, a tribute to the Italian artist Piero Manzoni (), the provocateur whose epoch-making work Socle du Monde from lends its name to the Biennale.
Named after Piero Manzoni's From Copenhagen, Manzoni returned to Herning, where he created the famous Socle du monde, a metal plinth with the title of the work overturned, on which rests the entire terrestrial globe, designated as a work of art.

The Biennale is a tribute
Comme dernière œuvre de la série, Manzoni a réalisé le grand socle que l’on voit sur cette image, sur lequel est imprimée la légende Socle du Monde, et l’a tourné à l’envers. Cette opération avait pour but de symboliser le socle comme supportant le poids du monde, suggérant que la terre elle-même était une œuvre d’art.
